The Rotary Club of Chatham has donated $100,000 to the Foundation's "We Care For You While You Care For Them" campaign to renew the Intensive Care Unit Waiting Room!

The Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation Donation
Our club is proud to support The Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation with a $52,000 donation to purchase an Ultrasound System for the Surgical Department.
The Ultrasound System is used by the Anesthesia Department to minimize postoperative pain and increase comfort. It decreases the need for patient admissions, surgical cancellations and complications.
The equipment is part of the $200,000 fundraising goal by the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation to purchase 11 priority equipment pieces for three departments at Miramichi Hospital.
“Thank you to the Chatham Rotary and the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation for an awesome job in getting the latest technology for the benefit of surgical patients in our hospital” said Dr. Morales.
“The foundation is extremely grateful to the Rotary Club of Chatham for their donation.” said Joanne Sellars, Executive Director. “Their continuous support to our efforts is an example of what can be accomplished when the need is recognized to assist in enhancing local patient care. Thank you!”

Bike Miramichi Donation
The Rotary Club of Chatham made a donation of $1600 to Bike Miramichi to purchase a groomer to support the work that Bike Miramichi does during the winter to maintain the trails at French Fort Cove!
Random Act of Kindness: $5000 Grocery Donations
This last Friday the Rotary Club of Chatham's Random Act of Kindness Club paid approx $5,000 in groceries for unsuspecting members of our community at two Groceries Stores. We would like to thank the public for all their support in our efforts and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Pajama & Throw Donations for Losier Hall and Bridgeview Hall
Recently The Rotary Club of Chatham donated 170 pair of Pajamas to Losier Hall in Chatham Head, as well as a gift basket of goodies to each of the 8 units. Our club also donated 80 throws to the Bridgeview Hall as well as gift baskets for each unit. Stephen O’Reilly also provided musical entertainment at Losier Hall.
